EZ drummer 3

Hi, I have downloaded EZ Drummer 3. I have selected the right paths for my DAW (Reaper), but no joy . The stand alone is downloaded, but that doesn’t work either. I have windows 10.Millsy

p.s. the standalone version now works, but not Reaper

What path have you configured in Reaper and have you confirmed the EZDrummer 3 vst3 plug-in is there.

Hi Brad, The path is C:\programfiles [x86]\VST Plugins for Reaper. EZX3_EZDrummer 3_BrightRoom { And Main Room and Tight Room} are all in the VST Plugins for Reaper file. Cheers Millsy

Those are the sample libraries, but not the actual plugins.

Check the location; C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

Yes. That’s the plug-in.
That is the path to be configured in Reaper.

Hi Brad. I can’t work out how to send a screenshot. The picture icon is a mystery to me . As l said the only path l am now using is C:\Program Files (x86)\VST Plugins for Reaper Millsy

You should also add: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 to the path list.
Stop/Start Reaper.

Hi Brad, When I put in the new path (VST3) it not only doesn’t show EZ , it stops all the other VST s. Very frustrating . Is it worthuninstalling Ez and if so how do I do it. Millsy

That’s certainly not very good.
What version of Reaper are you running?

hi , i have now uninstalled toontrack pm and ez drummer. is it possible to NOT download the standalone version of ez drummer . maybe that would help. (?) Millsy

No that won’t help. I believe all the standalone app does is call the vst plug-in.

So just to be clear, when you added the VST3 path and rebuilt the plug-in cache in Reaper is didn’t see any plug-ins?

hi, yes, it didn’t . I am using the latest reaper version of reaper  BTW. I am going to download and reinstall Toon track Pm and EZ . Is there anything I can do before I start? Millsy
