EZ Bass Freezes Logic Pro X But Only In One Project

I’ve been using EZ Bass in Logic Pro X and absolutely love the product.

I attempted to reopen a Logic Pro X project I’d be working on recently and it stalled in the opening process (spinning circle). I was able to open an earlier alternative but when I attempted to launch EZ Bass in it, Logic froze (spinning circle). I tried moving all the content from the project to another empty project and could move everything except the EZ Bass track, which caused Logic to freeze.

I do not have any problems using EZ bass in any other project, nor did I previously have problems with it in this project.

I’ve got a fair bit of time in the bass track, so I’d hate to lose it and have to start over. What else can I try?

I have Logic Pro 10.7.6

EZ Bass 1.1.6

I’m using them on a MacBook Pro Max with 64 GB Ram, running Ventura 13.1

Hi,

the first thing I would try is to open the plug-in manager and Reset & Rescan EZbass and perhaps clear the AU cache but since you can launch and run EZbass in other Projects, it would seem the Project is corrupted.

If you send the project to us, for example through a support ticket, we may be able to find the cause for the freeze and could also extract the bass track from it.
