Efnote 7x preset issues

Hello,

I’m running an Efnote 7X with Superior Drummer 3, and everything is triggering normally except for cymbal choke behavior.

Neither the ride choke nor the crash choke is being recognized inside SD3, though I do see MIDI signals showing up in the log.

I.E., for ride choke.

Type: Aftertouch (Channel Pressure)

Channel: 11

Pitch: matches the cymbal’s main strike note

Value: always 48

I posted on the Efnote forums, and an Efnote employee told me this was because “The Efnote preset on SD3 sucks.”

Operating system: macOS Tahoe (26)

Go to MIDI In/Edrums settings, select the preset for your kit, and then below in the “Edit” drop-down menu, check “Single Choke Mode” and “Lower Choke Threshold”, make sure to save the preset.
Does that solve the issue?

That fixed the ride choke aftertouch and 1 of the cymbals, but one isn’t working still.

Hey Zach, I’m having issues on hihat it always stays open do you remember how you calibrated that?

Did you set it to Edrum config?
