DTXPRESS Input 9/10 & HH60 Problem

Hey guys,

I am having trouble getting my HH60 pedal to work in conjunction with my DTXPress’ 9/10 input.  I have tried swapping out cables and other pads, and there seems to be no problem with either the HH60 or the cables.  I have also received output from the other pads through the 9/10 interface, right down the both zones of the snare.  I’d also like to note that Input 9/10 on the DTXPress works with the KP60 kick drum pedal. My ultimate goal is to use the HH60 as a second bass drum pedal through input 9/10.  To be clear, my MIDI brain is the original DTXPRESS (not the II or III, just the original).

It would be very much appreciated if someone could help me out with this conundrum.

I’m not familiar with these hardware models but if you are trying to use a hihat controller in place of a kick pedal I very much doubt you will get any result with this… these types of hardware are very much not interchangeable and some serious mods would be involved (at which point it might be better to look for a second hand KP60 that you know will work).
