drumkit from hell question

Hi, i am new in this things with electronic music and software music and before purchase i would want to know if i can use the drumkit from hell like a midi software to be played with yamaha dd65 digital drums, if i need another software or with the drumkit from hell is enough. Mi idea is to use the dd65 like a midi controler.
The yamaha dd65 have midi in midi out ports.

No, it doesn’t work like that. You will need to purchase EZdrummer and install it on your computer first, and then download TThost to host it. After that is up and running, you can add your DFH EZX library. Of course, you will need a suitable computer with a soundcard and midi inputs to start with.

Hi Dave, thank you for the answer, its the first time that i going to try to use mi digital drums in this way and i am a little lost. Then i have to install first the tthost and then the ezdrummer, after that i can plug the dd65 with a usb midi cable to my computer and play the ezdrummer trough the dd65?, the tthost its the htthost?, because i cant find it on the internet.

This will host the EZdrummer program and will rout your midi data to EZdrummer.

Hi Dave, thanks a lot for your help; i installed the ezdrummer and the toontrack solo and everything works fine, my question now its what i should do to map the different voices into the dd65 and put each voice in the pad that i want.
