Hello,
I’m sure this is an elementary question to most but I’m unsure and before I buy I would like to know what is what between the midi packs and the sound expansion packs.
I have both Superior drummer 3 that I am currently using with both the sounds and the midi / and EZ Keys 2 in the same way.
If I buy the sound expansion packs does it come with midi files also of different playing styles being played?
I hope I’ve made my question understandable.
thank you in advance.
You can read more about the difference between Sound Expansions and MIDI packs here: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/what-is-the-difference-between-a-midi-pack-and-an-ezx/
The text refers to EZXs but the same applies to EKX/EBX/SDXs.
Note that the older EKXs (made before the release of EZkeys 2) do not contain any new MIDI grooves, just the new Sound Library and Presets.
