Cymbals out of phase SD3?

Hi,

What causes cymbals to sound swishy or out of phase in SD3? During mixing, play back I don’t hear any problems. Once I do a quick mix down, only adding

a little volume to give a listen on other devices, car, phone, earbuds, the cymbals and hi-hat swish and warble, like out of phase. The Massenburg Yamaha purple

kit is what I am using. I haven’t touched a mic bleed. Everything is set to default. I haven’t stacked anything. There is nothing in the track inside SD3 as

other were saying regarding a “chorus” type effect.  Could follow host still be a problem if the track is empty? Going to double check that.

New to SD3 I was hoping someone could shed some light on my noobishness. Thank you for any help.

I figured out what the problem was or at least how to avoid it.  I’m using studio one 4 and was doing a quick burn to mp3 to check translation on other audio sources.

Doing that it always seems to have a phase issue. When I did an an actual “Digital Release” (if you are familiar with studio one’s mastering software)

as an mp3 the phase issue was non existent. I’m not sure why exactly but I’m glad its fine on a production release. Thanks for looking. 😀
