Creating a Custom Kit with the Latin Percussion sound library

Using EZ2 in a live situation, I need to have a snare and kick along with timbales and congas (multipad). I researched pre-sales questions and other online instructions to understand creating a “custom kit”. What I apparently missed is that the Latin Percussion sound library can’t be mixed into a custom kit. Is this correct? If not, how can I accomplish this task?

You can load 2 instances of EZD2 in your DAW, 1 a drum kit, the other the Latin Percussion kit. Set each to 2 different MIDI channels. Assign triggers accordingly.

Scott, thank you for the helpful information, unfortunately my question pertains to a live situation using a multipad which offers only 1 channel. The real issue is that I can’t “see” the “instruments” in the Latin Percussion sound library when I’m in (for example) the Modern basic library. And the reverse is also true. Would I be able to do this if I upgraded to SD?

Yes, you can add Latin Percussion EZX kit pieces mixed with drum kit pieces in one instance of S3.
