Just purchased EZDrummer 2 and have a novice question: I’m using my Yamaha DTX700 to trigger EZDrummer. I have this set in E-Drums>MIDI Mapping. When I strike the Hi-Hat, I hear both the Hi-Hat and the Floor Tom simultaneously. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? My DAW is Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. Thank you
Hi,
it sounds like you have either cross-talk in your kit or a broken cable. When you record the data sent from your module into Mixcraft, does it send several notes when you get the double triggering?

John

Thanks for replying, John. I can’t explain how or why, but my problem solved itself! Now I just need to reduce all the crackle sounds I’m hearing. Probably a sample rate or bit depth issue. I’m going to experiment with some different settings. Thanks again.
I’m getting the same issue on a DTX522K (More info: https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/everything-works-except-closed-hh-sounds-yamaha-dtx522k/)
