    This vid will help if you understand velocities in your DAW or vkit… 100% velocity on Tamborine/shaker means “mute”.

    You are awesome, thanks for the perfect answer / fast reply.
    I guess my mouse was throwing full velocity hits to my piano roll, and I was getting the mute notes.
    There is now sound, if I bother to actually write the notes in my midi clip.

    I really appreciate the help!
