Hi there
I have a Registered copy of EZDrummer 2. I’m trying to install a Post-Rock expansion pack I purchased but I get an error message to update EZDrummer first.
So, I downloaded and unzipped the 2 updates that were visible to me for EZDrummer- Core Library Update, and Midi Update. But when I try to run them, it tells me I need the updated version in order to run the update. ARGH! Nightmare. “You need to update the EZDrummer 2 software to the latest version before you can install this product”. I thought that’s what I was doing?! This is very unclear.
Can someone help me please as I can’t run the software I’ve paid a lot of money for. I find there’s no email address to write directly to Toontrack which seems to me very poor customer service.

Please use the Toontrack Product Manager for updating and see if that solved the issue.

Yes I worked it out myself eventually, but there was definitely a confusing process being allowed to happen whereby it wasn’t clear that I should use the Product Manager.
My point still stands, that you really need a dedicated customer support email.
