    Hi There,

I have upgraded to Big Sur 11.2.3 and EZ Superior drums version 3.2.4 and EZdrummer 2.2.0 are running in  Cubase 11.0.10.

Haven’t tried them in Logic Pro which I don’t use at present because it doesn’t support StevenSlate Drums in this configuration and SSD 5 is my favourite drum plugin (sorry Toontrack). Hope this helps but remain wary of MacOs updates.

If you upgrade a system and run your host in Rosetta 2, there should be no problem. There is no native M1 support but I guess that’s not in question in your case.

No, I am not running an M1 system yet.  I am just seeking feedback to find out if the app runs reliably with the Big Sur OS.

Cool – thanks for the info. I am getting a new Mac Mini to run my studio. I use EZ Drummer 2 (will check for latest upgrade) and Presonus Studio One 5. As of March, Presonus now supports Big Sur (Previously I kept my Mac on Catalina & was prepared to downgrade the software if need be), but my only remaininf question was with EZ Drummer, which seemed like it was still not supported. I’m hoping EZ Mix also works.

Before I run the Big Sur update on my MacBook Pro is there an answer to this. I’d hate to go there and find I’d lost EZD

I should’ve come back & confirmed. Talked with a mate who had had no issues, so I had a major update weekend and all’s well 🙂

I have been waiting for this information for a while now, and I’ve checked the Sweetwater Big Sur compatibility page every week hoping to see that the update is good to go with EZDrummer. It still says to wait to upgrade as of today. I wonder why this information has been so hard to find? I can understand if Toontrack is still working on making it fully compatible but your reply here is the very first instance I’ve seen anywhere on the internet where someone says to go ahead and upgrade. The madness! Thanks for this my dude.
