Best effective way to program Superior Drummer 2 grooves in Pro Tools 8 LE?

I need some opinions. In the past, I used EZDrummer and DKFH with Guitar Pro to program comfortably my drums. Now Im using Pro Tools 8 LE and Superior Drummer 2. How I can program my drums by hand with effectiveness and comfortably with Superior and Pro Tools? Right now, Im using the MIDI editor In PT but is not comfortably at all. What do you think? is there a effective way to do it comfortably?

Hi,

IMHO it is always easiest to have some kind of controller, at least when laying down the basic beats. Then tweak them in the MIDI Editor in PT.
Controllers can be your MIDI keyboard or controllers with pads like the KORG padKONTROL/nanoPAD, Trigger Finger, etc.
