BANNERS – Got It In You (Island)

Hi all,
I’ve been an SD3 user since early 2018. I worked on the drums for this song by BANNERS back in 2019 from my home studio. At the time, I didn’t have a great live drum setup, and ended up doing it all in SD3. The main drum performance was all done, programmed and edited in Superior Drummer 3, with some layering here and there.  (Played in via a Roland TD25k kit. The SD3 Drums come in at 1:35.)

Just realizing it’s been 6.5 years since this single was released. It’s sitting at 40 million on Spotify, and ultimately that’s the greatest part whether recording live drums in the room, or using SD3 – is knowing your performance connected with people.
