Hello,
I use Cakewalk by Bandlab.
I want to record my guitar on to a track in Cakewalk and then convert it to a bassline in EZBass.
I have called it Guitar Input
I have put an instance of Audio Sender on the track.
Here is what I see:
In the Audio Sender window there is a message “Not Sending” and the icon to the right of that has a line through it
The icon resembles the normal one you see in the computer taskbar indicating you are connected to your router.
Below that is a line that is cut in half by an X and a message “Not Connected”
When I play the guitar the meter in Audio Sender responds i.e. it detects signal coming in.
When I open the EZBass “Audio Tracker” tab the Input Box has “None”
When I press the dropdown button here the only entry is “None” with a tick by it.
Thank you for any help you can give me
Hello,
I’m just another EzBass user, and am having a lot of problems with getting it to recognise
Tempo changes within a song.
However I think I see your problem ~ You don’t use Audio Sender to actually Play the Guitar INTO Audio Track ~ You record the Guitar (or Bass-whatever) into your DAW, then put Audio Sender as the FIRST plugin on that recorded track, then you can open EzB, Audio Tracker, at the bottom there’s a box to tell it where to get the Audio from, in your case the track is labelled as Guitar Input, so in AT select that as it’s input, and press Play in your DAW. EzB will record that Guitar into AT and the you carry on from there.
Also you can just drag the recorded Guitar file into Audio Tracker and tell it if your converting Bass Audio or Guitar Audio etc.
Hope this helps you…

Thanked by: Point.blankHi Victor,
Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it.
I did try what you said.
I put some audio in a spare track labelled sss
I put TT AudioSender as the only insert on that track.
However, in EZBass, sss does not appear in the dropdown (still just says none).
Also, the last video I watched showed that you can set up the AudioSender and EZBass first, and then record your audio into your DAW.
Thank you for your help.
A reason for this could be that you are using an older version than 1.1.0 of either the Audio Sender or EZbass. EZbass 1.1.0-1.1.3 requires Audio Sender 1.1.0. Have you ever moved or copied these plug-ins after installation?

Thanked by: Point.blankHi Olaf,
I updated Audio Sender to the newer version and it works now!
Thank you for your help.
I have the same problem but in Bitwig Studio only; with Ableton I had zero problems up to a week ago when I switched from Live to Bitwig
You still having issue with Bitwig? Mine isn’t working also. Worked in Live from what I remember as well.
Yes, I still have issue with Bitwig, so I don’t use Audio Sender any more
I believe there is an option in Bitwig to have plug-ins in separate processes. EZbass and Audio Sender need to be in the same process to see each other.

Sure, I know that
Unfortunately, no option of the few available worked
