i am not the only one

problem not solved ?

because of EZ drummer 2 : last update or not ?

Just happened to me, had to change the audio device and output channels.

Operating system: Windows 10

what can we do with a Mac OS Big Sur ?

some days ago I had no problem

i have installed Ik multimedia updates

+ EZ drummer 2 last version

now I use my midi pad controller to play some drum parts and it freezes

Garageband crashes

so, what do you mean with “had to change the audio device and output channels.” in audio midi configuration panel ?

Under settings, audio/midi setup. Choose device type and output device, apply and close. Go back and change output channels to left and right. Still says update to 2.2.0, but on the bottom it says version 2.2.0. Something very wrong with this update

Solved

This is more or less solved except for a problem of latency-sound-image synchronization with the drums I had before the last update

but, what must be done to avoid garageband-midi pad controller lockups

is to revert – to come back to last  2.1.8 version  by a line code given by Toontrack

And don’t take the latest version with Mac OS Big Sur (for me, it blocked, garage band crashed and froze (wheel spinning endlessly))
