Any way to get working grooves with 7-tuplets or 9-tuplets?

So i have a complex prog metal song that use some 7-tuplets and 9-tuplets in 88 bpm tempo and most of the song i can fit grooves on but when it go to the complex tuplet part even with bandmate generated grooves the drum wont fit, i was looking at some progressive metal midi libraries with some weird beat like 7/8 but i’m not even sure it will fit cause it’s septuplets in 4/4 and these seem to not work with the software, i did try a work around like using the estimated tempo in bandmate and it seems to fix the issue but then i can’t import it on my song creator grid at the estimated tempo it keep warping back to reaper tempo. Is really the only way to write the drum for my song to write it first in guitar pro fully manually and then importing it in ezdrummer?

Keep the grooves in EZD. That should stop the speed being changed.

Hi,

when working with different Time signatures on the EZD3 Song Track, make sure you enter those changes in the Time Signature Editor on the Song Track. The same goes for Tempo changes.
If you are using the plug-in in a host, like Reaper, any Time signature or Tempo changes in either, will not automatically be reflected in the other.
With ‘Follow Host’ Enabled, the plug-in will slave to the host tempo (though it will not be reflected in the EZD3 Song Track’s Tempo Editor) but it cannot detect Time Signature changes since this is not sent to the plug-in.
