Alesis USB Drums settings with S2.0?

Hey guys,

I’m running an 8-core Mac Pro with 10g of RAM, Digital Performer 6.01, and the latest version of Superior Drummer. I chose to buy the Alesis USB drumkit (for $700!!!) and plan on triggering the S2.0 samples with it. I am not interested in upgrading the drum kit in any way, as I’ve spent my full budget.

I hear from MikeyVPT that it’s extremely hard to tweak the Alesis I/O to get a natural feel for the drummer. I have a sole drummer coming in to record a pop album and I have NO experience playing drums (especially E-drums) myself. Is there a good starting point in terms of settings on the Alesis kit? If so, can I download a settings MIDI file somewhere online or in this forum and upload them to the Alesis I/O? If not, could anyone email me the settings they have been successful with and any tips on this particular setup?
