The  Akai mpd 218 and its software can’t be updated (so not possible to use it )

DO you have a the AKAi mpd 218 with EZD 2 ?

or if not , what can we find  as a midi pad controller for Mac OS Big Sur +Garageband +EZD 2 ?

this is more or less solved except for a problem of latency-sound-image synchronization with the drums

but, what must be done to avoid garageband-midi pad controller lockups is to revert to version 2.1.8 by a line code given by Toontrack

and not take the latest version with Mac OS BIg on (for me, it blocked, garage band crashed and froze (wheel spinning endlessly))
