Double click “MYMIDIFILES” to open the folder, then put your MIDI files in there.

if does not, indeed, in EZdrummer. But you will find a ‘User MIDI folder’ entry in the Help ‘?’ menu top right, which is the documented protocol for adding user MIDI files incidentally… I’m sure the convenience will be added to EZdrummer at somne point but it is not at the moment.

    Thanks a lot, Rogue!

Yes, I already found that folder in my EZDrummer folder (it’s a sub-folder of the MIDI folder in there).
So, I can simply drag and drop my own MIDI into that folder? And also delete them if I don’t want them there anymore? This does not do anytihng to the installation, right?

let me quote from the manual, if I may:

select the ‘User MIDI folder’ entry from the Help Menu to open the ‘MY MIDIFILES’ folder on your Desktop, and place and organize your grooves labelled as you see fit.

    🙂

Can we user define the location of the MIDIFILES folder? If I don’t want the EZDrummer folder to keep appearing at the first level of my system drive and wish to have it on an external?

    Thanks,

I made a symbolic link to another drive, renamed it “MY MIDIFILES” and it caused no problem… as a matter of fact, I even did this with the main MIDI folder and it worked just the same: I guess it’s not documented because it’s so obvious!
