Hi,
When I open EZDrummer (be it as plugin inside Cubase or as standalone in TT solo), I have the grooves to open, and I tried dragging and dropping my own MIDI files(s) into it, to add them to ‘My Mididfiles’, I remember that used to work with EZPlayer (which I do not have installed at the moment), but it did not work in EZDrummer.
My question: can I just locate the ‘My Midifiles’ sub-folder in the windows explorer (I think it’s a sub-folder of EZDrummer) and paste my MIDI files there? Or would that cause any problems?
Thanks,
Lars

Double click “MYMIDIFILES” to open the folder, then put your MIDI files in there.

Thanks,
but like I said in my post, I did what you described, but that does not work.

if does not, indeed, in EZdrummer. But you will find a ‘User MIDI folder’ entry in the Help ‘?’ menu top right, which is the documented protocol for adding user MIDI files incidentally… I’m sure the convenience will be added to EZdrummer at somne point but it is not at the moment.

Thanks a lot, Rogue!
Yes, I already found that folder in my EZDrummer folder (it’s a sub-folder of the MIDI folder in there).
So, I can simply drag and drop my own MIDI into that folder? And also delete them if I don’t want them there anymore? This does not do anytihng to the installation, right?

let me quote from the manual, if I may:
select the ‘User MIDI folder’ entry from the Help Menu to open the ‘MY MIDIFILES’ folder on your Desktop, and place and organize your grooves labelled as you see fit.

Can we user define the location of the MIDIFILES folder? If I don’t want the EZDrummer folder to keep appearing at the first level of my system drive and wish to have it on an external?
Thanks,
