Hi everyone,
I’m really excited to share my first-ever official release under my project skypolar — “let’s stay here”.
skypolar is a trancegaze project blending live-performed drums, trance-inspired synths, and expressive Strat-style guitar, with influences ranging from Above & Beyond, Andy Moor, Farius and Tycho through to players like Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, and Pendulum.
The drums on this track were performed live on eDrums using Superior Drummer 3, which has become a huge part of my workflow.
Everything on this release was done independently:
- Live drums performed and recorded by me
- Guitars recorded by me
- Synths programmed by me
- Full mix and master completed by me using FabFilter tools for EQ, compression, and saturation
This is my first official release, with lots more planned this year, so it feels special to share it here with fellow Toontrack users.
