The song was written in 2023, partly as a way of being able to cope with decades of musical suffering, and partly as a way of dealing with the issues of aging, mortality, the loss of my beloved cat, and the far too early deaths of school friends…with a focus on resilience, living in the moment, and making the best of life despite all the bad things… “I am what I do.”
