BEST ANSWER
No update should overwrite your custom mapping. They should be in a file in your user area which updates don’t overwrite. All of my mappings have worked with every update.

I tried the DWe preset for my DWe Kit and there are a couple of missing articulations like the snare rim click which is note 4 in DWe control is not triggering anything in SD3 and the crash 2 is triggering crash 1.

Nevermind – I found it going through SD3 itself.

Hi Guys,

My SD3 has an error message on all my projects. I’ve tried going back to older version, it didn’t work and re-downloaded new update and installed and still getting error message…My DAW is Reaper. I’ve rescanned vsts, no help….I’m dead in the water…

Hi! Have you made sure that REAPER is scanning in the correct VST location? It seems like you have a duplicate, older plug-in, still on your machine that REAPER is picking up and using instead of the updated plug-in. You need to find the old plug-in and delete it, then configure REAPER to look in the correct location if it isn’t right now.

If youre using the VST 3 plug-in (VST3i in REAPER), the updated plug-in should be in this folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

If you’re using the VST 2 version (VSTi in REAPER), follow the instructions in this FAQ: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/the-plug-in-is-missing-in-my-daws-list-of-plug-ins/
