Hi all. I’m new here.
I just bought the EZ Mix program. I’m thinking of adding the dedicated mastering software. I record light Jazz, Country, Ballads, and some light blues. I’m NOT into EDM, Funk, Metal, or any of these modern genres. I’m thinking the EZ Mastering 2 would be best for me. Which version do you think would be best? Many thanks…
Anybody’s opinion is welcome at this point. Thanks!
This really is a dead forum! I put the question to the support folks. Hope I get some action before the sale is over!!
I would get Mastering I. You may find it’s all you need.

Thanked by: AcreguyHi Scott,
Many thanks for chiming in. I kind of jumped the gun and decided to go ahead with Mastering 2. It seemed to have some very interesting presets. I’m sure either way, I can produce a decent end product.
I really like EZ Mix. I’ve only tried a few presets on some vocal tracks and instrument tracks but it really works well. The reviews all say that if someone is not interested in tinkering with all the settings, EZ Mix and EZ Mastering is perfect.
Out of curiosity, if I decide to revert to Mastering 1, can I swap them out? I just made the purchase this afternoon.
Many thanks again!

I’m not sure. You’d have to ask Toontrack directly about an exchange. Click the Contact Support button in the FAQ below.
