Hi,
I updated to the latest SD3 version yesterday and today Im getting this message after using the program for a few minutes. The result is no sound (but the graphics show a midi signal received). I have to restart the program to get it to work until it fails again.
This is happening when just using the stand alone version, but if I load it up as a plugin with Reaper it does not happen.
Nothing was changed with my setup other than updating to version 3.2.1.

Do you have multiple softwares using ASIO active?
Did you try the solution reported in this post (even if the settings look correct, try switching to WASAPI and back with the correct settings in the ASIO controls again):

Im only using SD3 with ASIO active at any one time (nothing else).

Got the same problem after updating to 3.2.1., before everything worked well.
The behavior is as follows: After a few minutes, the message “Audio Engine Inactive” kept appearing, it doesn’t matter if SD3 is playing or just in stop mode. During this time, no other application or activity is carried out on the PC.
At the moment the message appears, it does not indicate any problems in the audio setup. See the print screen pics in the attachment, taken at the moment of the crash. After pressing the button “reseting device” SD3 starts working immediately.
There is also an error dump file, is there a way I can send this to Toontrack?
Windows 10 64bit.
Nuendo 8
Device type: ASIO
ASIO device: Universal Audio Thunderbolt
Output latency: 3.9 ms
Buffer latency: 2.7 ms
Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
