I have EZDrummer 2 that was acquired as an upgrade to EZDrummer 1. When I changed computers I installed EZDrummer 2 on the new computer along with my registered EZXs and MIDI Packs. However, I do not have the Grooves or the Cocktail Kit that I had with EZDrummer 1. The TT Product Manager shows that I have EZDrummer 1 but that it can’t be installed because EX Drummer 2 is installed. I assume that I should have installed EZDrummer 1 first and then EZDrummer 2. Should I uninstall EZDrummer 2 and then reinstall EZDrummer 1 and then EZDrummer 2? If so, is there an uninstaller for EZDrummer 2 and where can I find it? Do I also need to uninstall the EZX’s and MIDI Packs before installing EZD 1? Is there a better way to accomplish this?
I know that’s actually a bunch of questions but thanks in advance for the help.
Ron
Was there any solution to this?
The cocktail kit had some salsa grooves that don’t seem to exist anywhere else in the Toontrack world. I upgraded from lite to EZdrummer 2 and had cocktail and pop/rock kits and grooves. I bought a new computer, installed EZdrummer 2 and the old kits/grooves are gone. EZdrummer lite is too old to instal on my new mac.
I would really love to have access to those old sounds and grooves. Is it possible to get them into EZdrummer 2?
Hi,
if you expand the Details of EZdrummer 1 in the PM, you see that you have the Cocktail EZX under EXTRAS.
Click Download and then Open to run the Cocktail EZX installer.

Thanks for the reply John. Like I mentioned before, I upgraded from EZdrummer Lite, not EZdrummer 1. The Cocktail EZX is nowhere to be found under Details. I did notice that when I downloaded the EZdrummer Lite installer there was a Cocktail EZX installer in the folder but it won’t run on Catalina.
Is there any way to get access to the kits and grooves that came in EZdrummer Lite for someone who upgraded directly to EZdrummer 2 on a Mac running Catalina?
Thanks again,
-Danny
Hi John, I need an easy question answered. I have drummer 1 with Nashville pack. Dated like 2012ish….loaded on my old laptop. I am about to buy a new windows ten desktop 64 bit system and want to find out if my purchases will work on the new operating system. When I go to product manager at toontrack.com it show windows 8 only on each downloadable item. I can’t figure out if that means the last time I downloaded them it was on windows 8 version on my laptop or if that’s the last windows version those are good for. Any idea on that?
I don’t find cocktail ezx but I am sure I played with its “new version” some months ago

Hi there.
I was looking for the same thing.
I’ve found the Cocktail Installer inside the Extras session, as pointed.
The thing is that, after the download, I wasn’t able to install it because “the installer needs to be updated”.
How can this be fixed?
Thank you.
Contact Toontrack because they gave me the solution
