I am running ezdrummer 2 in logic pro x. Out of nowhere, I’ve started getting the error message Audio Engine inactive and I am unable to use ezd2 in an capacity within logic. Stand alone mode works fine, no issues at all.
I did recently add new midi packs, but they worked fine for the last few weeks. I have not changed any settings, or any new hardware /software/etc.
Any suggestions? As of now ezd2 is useless.
If you try to change the buffer size, or the audio interface (if you have an external audio interface) in Logic, does it work?

Hi
Solved maybe it can be useful
This is more or less solved except for a problem of latency-sound-image synchronization with the drums I had before the last update
but, what must be done to avoid garageband-midi pad controller lockups
is to revert – to come back to last 2.1.8 version by a line code given by Toontrack
And don’t take the latest version with Mac OS Big Sur (for me, it blocked, garage band crashed and froze (wheel spinning endlessly))
