Thanks Rogue. I guess that could be it. In all my years midi’ing I havn’t come across a difference in octave numbering nomenclature before in any of the kit I’ve used – C1 has always matched up with C1 on everything else. Must be just lucky I guess. I’ll check it out.
 
EDIT: I would have searched the forum but the help aread wasn’t available for some reason when I posted this thread, only the FAQ. Looks like its open again now.
