Hi, first off I want to say what a great program this is. Not just for the sound quality but also the workflow is so organized. You can really tell how much thought went into the design.
Are you able to export the files from sd3 into finale notation software?
Is there any way to change from kick in 1 to the kick in 2 mic? It shows on the website that they used 2 different bass drum mics for the batter head but I can’t figure out how to switch between them.
I’m having an issue where when I bounce the audio from the standalone it’s way to quiet. Is there a way to increase the level of the bounced audio?
Last question, if I buy a 2 zone trigger for my snare am I able to route it so it plays back rimshots? When I play an actual rim shot?
I would also like to know the answer to the second to last question regarding level increase.
There is a Gain slider at the bottom of the Bounce pop-up. It can raise the volume by 12dB. Have you tried that?
However, the level of the bounce is automatically kept low enough for the loudest parts to stay within the 0dB, hard clipping, limit of the wav-file format.
On the other hand, as long as you bounce to 24-bit files the low volume doesn’t mean that you lose quality
so you can just raise the volume inside the DAW when you use the files later on.
