At first nano pad 2 was shown as a midi controller option but it just wasn’t responding. So I updated drivers and then it didn’t recognize it at all giving error ” No Midi in device available” ( nano pad 2 is lighting up fine has power) I was also unable to locate superior drummer in Reaper as well as nano pad 2. So of course I uninstalled driver for nano pad 2 and reinstalled still no difference. If someone has a fix I need it very badly. Frustration mounting. I’m a moderate PC tech guy at best but I can follow a directions fine. I tried a fix concerning midi assignment # but no success. Adepts and wizards please share with green student ASAP.
Hi,
I can’t give you much more help on the nanoPad but to be able to launch Superior 2 in Reaper; first check your Preferences VST search path(s) so that it includes the path to where your Superior 2 plugin file (VST, AU) is installed (i.e. not the library). Make sure you are adding the right version – 32-bit or 64-bit.
Next, you ‘Insert Virtual Instrument on New Track’ from the menu.
