    Hi,

    if you read this info:
    https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-trigger-the-ezdrummer-2-percussion/
you will understand why you can’t trigger the EZdrummer 2 Percussion pads as a regular pad.

You would have to make sure your module doesn’t send out any
velocities higher than 20 for that tambourine pad. If you can do
that it ought to work. Well, it would give you the same performance
that you get when you click the tambourine in the interface.

I just purchased the Latin Percussion to get the tambourine only to realize that it´s IMPOSSIBLE to drag the tambourine into any kit from the standard, Rock or Reggae packs.
It´s not possible to change any drum, cymbal or percussion to the tambourine. The option is not present in any way. Thought when you had the sound in the library you could put it in any where you wanted.

That means I just wasted a a lot of money on NOTHING as this extension is totally useless to me as it is. Why have you made the weird decision that it´s so hard to get a bloody tambourine working ?
When I settled on buying the EZdrummer software I found it logic you had placed a global Cowbell and tambourine only to find out you cannot use the tambourine with edrums. It´s such a natural and used percussion that I simply cannot understand this is not possible to use on every EZX.

Does this really mean that if I like the ROCK and REGGAE packages and their excellent presets I will never be able to use a tambourine within EZdrummer?

Is there any way I could get my money back for the EZX as I really believed I could change any cymbal to a tambourine ?

I found a solution to make use of the EZdrummer tambourine and other percussions – including using both cowbell and group claps in the same song.

I simply recorded the sounds, exported them as ..wav-files, dragged them into Audacity and created my own samples, put them on a SD card and THEN I can use the EZdrummer sounds on the Alesis Sampled I just bought for this.

Now the fine tambourine sound of EZdrummer2 can finally be used LIVE.

A hell of a work a round, and quite expensive, but it´s working and sounding good.

Would have been way easier if you had made a global perc-section with the most used instruments to be used in any preset.

Why didn’t you just use two instances of EZdrummer? One running
the drums and one running the percussion?
