Hi Toontrack,
I would like to request that you try to find a way to make the metronome in Tap to Find playable in sync in real time with the host. That way you can record a rhythm guitar track say to your hosts metronome and then when you use Tap to Find you can actually listen to that guitar track in sync with the Tap to Find metronome and tap out the kind of groove you want. MUCH better that tapping out a groove to a bare metronome. Hope you know what I mean.
Second request is about another EXpansion…me and a lot of other guys I know would love a drum Xpansion that is a little more laid back than anything you offer right now. There’s a hole in the market for the kind of drums that we’d hear on Bob Dylan’s Bringing it All Back Home…understated…the kind of drums you’d hear on Maggie’s Farm, She Belongs To Me, Love Minus Zero No Limit….also the Everly Brothers…songs like Bye Bye Love…simple drum tracks…some of the early Elvis stuff….
I know I’m not the only one who sees your marketing mode of operation…awesome drums recorded in state of the art rooms or awesome rooms with stellar gear or boutique gear…yeah that’s great…but there’s a lot of us who want drums…but we want the drums to take a bit of a back seat…we want them to groove and to be the foundation for the song…but we don’t need octopus fills or sledge hammer beats. I’m sure you guys could market this one in a positive way. You make it…I’m buying it!
