PM16 trigger to midi problem

  Hi all,
  I’m pretty news in the Edrum World, but i’ve got big MIDI experience.
  Recently i’m trying to convert a A to E drum, i’ve cup in the middle a 12′ tom , use all things needed.
  My trigger machine is a old PM16 bought 50€, connect to any kind of midi module (but at least should control a VST drum program).
  My first tom created working very fine on TD12 module (fine enough then my father in law ask me to create one as chrismas gift for him :D) but with PM16 module (the level trigger is setup to max and in mic mode wich is better the piezzo mode), the roll response is not the same. Like midi notes are not fast enough from the module thru midi.
  Have you any idea if it’s module problem from trigger to midi or just a trigger level not loud enough??
