A friend of mine is laying down the drums for a couple of my songs with Roland TD-6v. But the midifiles he sends my seems a little messed up.
So, is there a template to download to fix this?
it sounds like your friend may have altered the factory setting of the module as I would expect the default mapping of Superior 2 (or EZdrummer) to be spot on, out of the box, otherwise. If such is the case you will have to correct this the hard way by learning your articulations manually (or using a ‘drum map’ or equivalent if you only have EZdrummer available).
