In preparation of launching a more lengthy course on his entire creative process from idea to finished groove, Jay checked in with this video and message!
“I’ve used Toontrack software for almost two decades. A wonderful byproduct of working with these drum libraries is that I get to change my kit out whenever I feel like it. If I’m in a creative funk or I just can’t see the direction with a song – easy – change the sound and go from there.”
The course will cover Jay’s process – from loading up Superior Drummer 3 to choosing the kit sounds, programing a beat and finally sitting down at the e-kit to learn it. The course will be available on Jay’s YouTube and site on November 22. Stay tuned!
