THIS IS AN ANSWER TO A DIFFERENT QUESTION….

This is really a different question… EZDrummer 32 loads in Sonar but won’t play sounds.

Well it’s fixed and the fix was easy.

I had not run the Toontrack 64 bit Windows update for EZDrummer, which is available in your Products page if you click on the product icon and then look at the downloads tab.

The file you need to download and run is a zip file named EZdrummer_Update_WIN_140

Thanks for your help… I will be installing the rest of EZD today along with the SD2 crossgrade so you may hear from me again…

    OK, thanks.
The missing piece was installing Toontrack solo.

But now I have another issue.

I iinstalled TTSolo64 and it couldn’t find a path to the VST. I read somewhere else that the person had to install the 32 bit version, which I did, and now TTSolo will load a kit and play it.

HOWEVER… when I load the 32 bit VST in Sonar Platinum, my PC loads the EZDrummer gui but it doesn’t appear to be loading any samples and of course, there is no sound. When I installed, I installed the samples on another drive as advised by many.

I am running 64 bit Win7 pro SP1 with Sonar Platinum. This is all working on the system I’m retiring.

What can I do to straighten this out?

    Thanks in advance…

    Bill

I’m with loydb about the size of the UI. I realize that decisions like that by the software team are carefully considered, but please have some consideration for those of us who by age or other reasons have trouble reading thin, microscopic typefaces.

I’m not trying to be critical. Other than the UI, I LOVE the product and I hope you will consider changing the way it appears on the screen. Resizable window would be awesome (maybe impossible to code) but that would be the best.

    Cheers,
    Bill
