    Hi, thanks for your feedback.

Wath do you think about THE METAL FOUNDRY SDX ?

Id go for Death and Darkness. In fact I use a lot of it for most songs.

Legacy of Rock and Death and Darkness, is all you will need 🙂

Funny enough, I have been finding that those two kits have been my go to kits within this pack so far.

Yeah I like the Jet Black the best. Seems to fit into a lot of songs, I like its toms. The Amber kit is a little harsh, works great for Led Zep songs, but hard to fit into others lol 🙂

Im luck, I can use my iPad Pro and connect it to my iMac using Apples Sidecar feature:

    https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT210380

Basically allows me to use my iPad as a second screen. Either mirror my iMac screen completely, or be a second screen and I drag Superior Drummer 3 onto it.

Its great having it all at my fingertips at the drums.

But, this is Mac only and you have to have pretty new Macs and iPads to use Sidecar.

Then it looks like a Windows specific issue.

I’ve already tried on 2 studio workstations (Win10 Pro, one with 64GB RAM, the other one with 80GB RAM).
    Loading until 16384MB … then poooof. 🙁

Have opened a support ticket earlier today, still no answer. Let’s see.

Just to check, have you ran some memory diagnostic software and stress tested your RAM? Otherwise, like you say it could be a Windows issue, but unless someone else running windows has the same issue that can’t be confirmed either.

Ive got a TD17 KVX, so Iv mapped all the toms, Ive mapped the Gong to the Rim of my floor tom, and the two timpani to the rims of my mounted toms and the excellent cowbell to the bell of my ride. Awesome lol 🙂

Nice Malcolm – a bit off topic but do you mind me asking how you find the UAD Arrow?

Superb!, never had a single issue with it and I’ve had it about a year now. Works fantastic with my Roland kit and no latency issues I can notice.

Interesting, raw and Ive fallen in love again with retro classic kits:

    https://youtu.be/A00wv28fxyg

    https://youtu.be/cvkNye2xUsg

These kits have character all of their own, far from perfect, but just lovely.

I do now need to spend some time mixing and adjusting levels, but Im amazed how each kit fits into their respective bands and era 🙂

I have zero problems on my pc. I have just passed my last one onto my son which I was using since 2008. That’s 12 years. A couple of years ago I was able to get a faster processor off eBay for £30 and extra memory for about the same so I had 18gig and a 3.2gig overclocked to 4gig. Since windows 7 things have been good and windows 10 has been even better. How much would it cost to upgrade memory on a Mac? It may even be soldered to the board so you can’t. PCs are not the pain they used to be and you get far more bang for your buck. I build my own. I have done since the early 90s

Anyway off topic now. I’ll lEave you fan boys to your apples ( please take as a joke as I do own an iPhone and iPad )

Its cool mate, I have Windows 10 Pro running on my iMac too, and its running with an i9 CPU, 48GB men and Radeon Pro Vega 48 8 GB all on a SSD and with thunderbolt 3 ports. It runs better than on my PCs. But I only use it for the odd thing like Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 🙂 I do have all my SD3 and audio hardly on it too and all works fine.

Just my last Mac has never had one issue or crash in 12 years, it just works!

But, Superior Drummer 3 is brill whichever machine you use, and that’s the main thing.

Just better on Macs lol 😉
