That sounds like a hardcoded shortcut issue in the installer. Some programs always create the desktop shortcut pointing to the default C:\Program Files path, even if you choose a different install location. When that happens, Windows just cannot find the executable. The easiest fix is to delete the shortcut and create a new one manually from the actual install folder. It is annoying, but it does https://rabbitroads.uk/ not mean the program is broken. This is more of an installer oversight than a system problem. You could also report it to Toontrack support so they can fix it in future updates. It should really respect the custom install path you choose.
