    Thanks, Galgan. I agree it’s an interesting premise. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking Superior Drummer, or Ezdrummer either. You have a human performer triggering samples made by recording another human performance in many cases(laughing.) The idea that distribution companies and youtube would deny your music monetization, seems rather absurd to me.

    You are correct. TuneCore is explicit in stating the same exact thing as Distrokid. No YouTube monetization using songs with EZDrummer2 as the drummer as they are samples.

    Old thread i know, but, i’m curious… What if i write and record with a drummer who uses an E-Kit to trigger Superior Drummer? I mean in all reality my drummer is the drummer the sounds he is triggering via software with his E-kit, is not the drummer… Although based on statements like the one quoted TuneCore and Distrokid are saying my drummer is NOT the drummer?  The real drummer is the software being triggered by his performance?
