Not quite sure what regular means in this context, I bought SD3 from a store in the UK without previously having SD2, does this qualify me for NY Vol 1 SDX ? I also bought NY Vol 2 so I`m missing the avatar kits

It`s worth paying a bit more for the Kits which are excellent imho. you can listen to the demo`s of them on the website, they`re on special offer too. I don`t know the answer though to whether it`s the same quantity of midi.

There`s always a balance/trade off with these things, Toontrack are obviously in the business of making a profit and we all want everything as cheap as possible. As far as I understand it NY vol 1 was the old SD2 library, so they should have got their profit from that at the time. So if you up grade from SD2 to SD3 you already have the old library available. The problem comes when people either upgrade from EZD2 or dive straight into SD3 like me. I think the earlier libraries should have been in SD3 but I wouldn’t mind paying a smaller/reasonable fee to get them. I also have a dilemma with Music City and Nashville which seem essentially seem to be the same.

Thanks John, in your opinion am I missing much not having them ? I`<code>m new to SD3 so trying to get used to it, I`d also like to have access to the EZ Drummer 2 library, is that possible ? Overall I think SD3 is awesome, so thanks.
Hi Scott, This pack was on special offer from Toontrack a couple of weeks ago, it was a good deal but there was no mention that there were kits missing. I`m not the only one affected by this ,there is another thread complaining about the same problem, it seems to b e people who have bought SD3 without previously having SD2.
Are you not getting any kits or are half of them missing ? I`ve just bought and downloaded NY Studios Vol2 and the Avatar kits are missing from Allair and some from Hit Factory too.
