Well, Andreas nailed it.
Answer from toontrack follows…
“There is currently no such video as this is not specifically what tracker is designed for. While it is possible to pull trigger points out of a single stereo file, Tracker is design to work with individual multi channel drum audio files. For this reason we can not guarantee the quality of your results.
The procedure would be to import the stereo file, then duplicate the file once for each instrument that you want to create via MIDI. (i.e. if you want to capture MIDI for a Kick, Snare, 2 toms, 2 crash cymbals, 1 ride and 1 high hat, you would duplicate the file 8 times, as you have 8 instruments).
Finally, you will need to refine the trigger points as using tracker in this way will cause many false triggers. This is explained in the Tracker manual.
You would then choose a different instrument category in the Sound recognition section for each file. So, one would be set to Kick, the next would be set to Snare, and so on… “
Well, I feel better about this answer this morning. Yesterday I was ready to jump… :p
Thank you Andreas and Toontrack.

I guess I better saddle up.
I believed the advertising video mentioned you can convert a single full kit stereo wav file recording to a midi file that includes the full kit.
I prolly dreaming… :p
