Thank you for a speedy response.

It turns out that for some reason when I right clicked the drop down box was there, however it was “invisible” 

you can just see it around 35 and 41.

I think a reaper update fixed that, fingers crossed.

Thanks for your suggestion , I will definitely look into that, as a more permanent solution to my issue.
