    Yeah thats right.

I managaed to work around this a little.

I unplugged my keyboard, and now only use EzD without tap2find with the keyboard. only with the mouse, or I just search and listens to all the grooves in the library. It takes a little longer but Logic dosnt crash.

So my solution for now, if it is not working with the 2.1.8 for you, as it did not for me, is to just fuck the midi keyboard and use ezd with the mouse or just search and preview in the libraries.

I am sorry but it does not work for me, I guess I am doing something wrong.

    I have emailed Toontrack.

    Thanks for trying! 🙂

Ok, I dont get why it does not work..

I just spend like 700 dollars on Ezdrummer, Exmix and a lot of expansions. Just to arrive to my Cabin to realise that it doesnt work well with Big Sur..

Do you have any other idea what I can do?

I don’t know what im d0ing wrong, but i follow every step you write, but it nothing happens. still on 2.2.0.

Damn this sucks. I am in the middle of a studio session. Traveled to a cabin for 5-6 days just to focus on music and recording. And now this shit…

Just to explain what I did:

I pasted the line you wrote, in to the terminal.

Then I downloaded and installed the 2.1.8 software update

    Then I installed it

    Refreshed (nothing changed)

    Restarted my computer.

Do I need to delete some old EzD files?

I guess im stupid, but i am downloading the 2.1.8 update installer.

Then installing it. I have typed in the command in terminal, but EzD still says im using version 2.2.0.

    What am I doing wrong?

Hey man, stupid question, but how the hell do I install the 2.1.8 if i already have the 2.2.0?

I tried to enter the command you provided, and then downloaded the 2.1.8 as you described but i still says in EzD that I run it on 2.2.0.

I also have macOS Big Sur. Starting to regret downloading it…
