This takes a little eternity, I also thought at first that the program had hung up. But then it finished at some point. Depending on the number of user files, you apparently need a lot of patience. If this is in the range of 30,000 files, you should probably make a pot of tea beforehand.
People usually complain in help forums, of course. I want to make an exception, too (and hope that people don’t think I’m getting paid for this ;-)): After a few hours I have to say: The update is great, the new piano is very good, the UI is excellent and it is a pleasure to work with EZkeys 2. Even if under the hood, of course, the old product is still visible, it all seems to me more than just an update. I am an ambitious hobby musician with a classical education, but I have been earning my money as a software developer for many years. So I know that the amount of work behind a project like EZKeys 2 is often underestimated.
