Thanks for your answer Henrik!
Yes, i use the latest version 3.03
Of course have tried the mentioned option to apply the preset before posting my question here, the result is even more worst, than leaving it unchecked. Especially the hihat articulations are wrong. The notes in the grid editor were now moved to the trigger section underneath the hihat track and sound as the hihat is played half or full open. But that is not the case, when played back from the DAW the Hihat sounds closed. So the aftertouch data seems to be misinterpreted during import
I know the other way your described, but that’s unfortunately no option for me, because of my production workflow.
Can you describe (or point me to a document) what the import option should do with the midi notes and aftertouch data from the source?
I thought when i record SD3 in my DAW the midi and aftertouch data isn’t manipulated in any way, everything happens when SD receives the data. Now mapping and interpretation of aftertouch is used based on my settings in SD3. If this is correct, then during import the same raw midi data is given to SD3 and the import option applies the same transformation to the Hihat as normally happens during playback!?
Thanks in advance
Thomas
