Sorry I did not see this reply.
I have windows 10 home edition. My library is a external HDD path. Hardware setup is just 2 speakers, an Alesis V61, and a Scarlett 2i2.
My best guess is randomly it loses where the path was, and crashes trying to load the core library. When I turn off the External drive, it loads fine, but then I turn the HDD back on and set the path again. That is the only weird part of the setup probably
OK, I fixed it in a very weird way. I opened SD3 standalone and kept it open as the library installed. Once it finished installing I set it as a new path, it took 10 minutes to add, and it works now.
Thanks for the help in registry and how to delete everything.
YES. It turns out one of the registry’s was corrupted, I missed 3 files, I deleted them and it started up normally again. No I have another problem, It opens in standalone just fine, using the EZDrummer Library Paths, However now when I install the Core SD3 Library, it immediately freezes again.
I deleted everything, removed SD3 .dll from anywhere I could find, removed original path, deleted it from the registry too, restarted the PC, reinstalled all packs and SD3 standalone, it still crashes at startup screen. For comparison EZDrummer2 works perfectly fine, on both DAW and standalone.
I opened task manager to see what its even doing and uses 78mb of Memory, and no CPU or Disk usage. I clicked “create dump file” on the Task Manager for SD3 and it even crashes notepad when I try to open that.
I’m very confused and don’t know what to do anymore.
