I am using the Alesis E-Drum Setting.  There is the Alesis DM-10 setting but I am using just the Alesis selection

I will have a tinker with the control module settings.

I am fairly new to this Midi stuff but from what I can see, each Midi trigger does only one thing. Is that correct?  I want to be able to set it so that if the snare hit and the rim hit come through together to trigger the rimshock event.  Is that even possible?
