still trying to find the best workflow when recording in the SD3 VST;

i found the follow host button and its on, but i still need to record enable manually in the sd3 drum vst every time before i hit record in logic.

is there a way to automate/lock this?

which one is ‘best’ of the 2 libraries? i’m doubting which one to get

thanks for the reply, that last part might be the problem. As i work with my laptop connected to a display I have to resize quite frequently. will try if it works after closing/reopening the window thanks!

is there an update to this in 2023?

Whenever I use SD3 as plugin within my daw, when I want to delete a note pressing backspace, it deletes the entire track with the plugin on it!

same for the other shortcuts….. please tell me there’s a workaround?

yes thats my thoughts exactly. I’m currently mainly interested in funk style kits, currently already own decades and hansa next to the core library. So I wonder if this NY vol 1 (avatar) will be worth it…

sure, but now i’m doubting, why didnt they include it in SD3 if it was the core library of SD2? perhaps they thought that the ‘new’ SD3 core was vastly better? then i might have to reconsider
