Thanks and yes Jord, I have seen that. I definitely have a love hate relationship with Logic’s Drummer. More often than not my issue is with the limitations of what it plays rather than how it sounds. I am predominantly working in a Country type genre and find there is a very limited number of those type rhythms. Seeing the Toontrack kits and midi-packs had me like a kid in the candy store.

    Hey Shootie,

Thanks for all you do. Love your great paced vids and in depth look at things. Thank you for this reply also. Yes a mono option would be nice.  You have suggested some great things to try and some I will have to get a better understanding of before I ask for any real help.

As I say I’m a Toontrack noob, but as I get deeper into it I’m quietly blown away. Will do some more experimenting. I leapt straight into using it for a song I’m working on and have, as a result, not really explored it all enough. As a songwriter it seems like such a great tool. I was drawn to Logic for its’ “Drummer” feature. Simply because it is simple and quick. I’ve never intended to use “Drummer” in a final output as such, but with EZ Drummer3 I’m starting to wonder if a virtual drummer could be used (for real).

    Cheers
