Just found out I had not installed standalone so it’s installing right now. Hopefully it’s the sound card that has the issue I can always buy another one. Also yes it’s M1. Also the latest steignberg driver didn’t help. I also forgot to mention that I’m running on 8gb of memory: could that be the problem? But at the same time Eazy drummer running smooth no issues.
Sure let me try stand-alone, and see how it works. I have always liked using it within daw cause it’s easy and faster for me. And yes it’s a new rig I’m running latest Big Sur. I will also try to download latest steignbeg drivers.

Thanks Brad! I’m using steignberg UR44 2017 (sound card) MacBook Pro. I’m using SD3 in Reason 10 haven’t used standalone yet, currently the buffer size I’m on is 128 this allows me to play drums with my fingers without latency issues. If I push the buffer size up to 4,098 which is the maximum the static becomes a little better but it’s still there but I won’t be able to play drums due to latency . I also I have eazy drummer it plays perfectly fine on the same computer, but I want SD3 drum samples they are just clean and modern. Because of this static I haven’t used my new SD3 it’s just not possible.

I’m going through the Exact situation, did you ever find the solution? I have tried everything you can think of the static won’t go away I’m giving up! I feel like I wasted money buying SD3. Please let me know.
